On Monday we went canoeing on the Lower Platte River. Mommy and daddy used to go when there were dating. We went with Uncle Robb, Aunt Tammy and Madeline. We weren't too crazy about the tippy canoe but we got used to it. The river was nice and calm and we got out to swim a few times and look for shells. We even saw a Blue Heron. It was a lot of fun. At the end, Uncle Ben, Aunt Kerri, Lolo and Ayden met us for some swimming. We almost lost Patrick because the current was really strong in the river and he went bobbing along. But Mommy caught him. It was a great day!
Tuesday we went to the State Park Beach with a ton of friends: Uncle Ben, Lolo and Ayden, Grandma and the three J's, Aunt Tammy, Kathy, Maddie and Emmalee, Aunt Jo with Stephen and Skyler and more friends of Aunt Kerri's. There were tons of kids to play with. Mommy likes this beach because there aren't any rocks like at Grandma's and we can watch the parasailers - they go really high! We swam a lot and Grandma bought us ice cream- Moomers. Yummmmy! Then we went to dinner at Uncle Mark's and Aunt Max's and we got to see their new house. They used to live near us in California, but not any more! We had so much fun with our cousins and can't wait until tomorrow when we go sailing on Uncle Ben's big boat with Lolo and Ayden!
