Merry Christmas

We had an amazing day. Santa was very kind to all of us. Bella loves her new American Girl doll, Teresa and Patrick loves his new helicopter, cars and books.

We hope everyone had a wonderful day and was able to enjoy extra time with family.

Small World is open! It's brand new and awesome! We also saw reindeer today and the holiday parade.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just an ordinary turkey day in our costumes. We played at the park to work up our appetites for turkey and the fixins! Just a great family day.

In the pool at the Clubsport

What form! We spent Saturday at the Renaissance Clubsport, about 45 minutes away in the oC. 75,000 sq foot gym- mommy was in heaven. We played in the pool and had dinner by the outside fire pits. Sunday morning we went the Kids World and played while mommy worked out then we all went to Family Yoga. The Kids World was lots of fun-they had a pirate ship, arts and crafts and a jungle gym outside.

Happy Halloween

Trick or treating was a blast this year. Patrick gets it and they couldn't get enough! Here we are as McCain and Palin which people loved. The "works of art" pumpkins by Justin-Snow White on Bella's and Red Wings on Patrick's.

We have candy to last a lifetime. Some of it will be disappearing!

Today we went to Christopher and Matthew's birthday party. It was hot but lots of fun. Here we are playing with Peter and Vincent Klima.

Fun at Pretty Gramma's

It felt like summer this weekend- 85 at Pretty Gramma's house! We went to a fun park and of course, made new friends. Played in the hot tub. Bella did a back flip out of the hot tub, by mistake, and ended up with a small head wound. Almost another trip to the emergency room for stitches. Aunt Renee to the rescue!

Fun filled weekend

What a beautiful weekend! It started on Thursday with daddy going to Vegas so we had extra mommy time. We bought Patrick's Halloween costume-Dash from the Incredibles! Wait until you see him in his mask-so cute. Saturday we ended up on a close to 3.5 hour walk with mommy. We went to the Hermosa Beach and played in the sand. We had fun in our costumes while mommy watched boys playing volleyball. On our way home we saw a sign for "Tall Ships" so we thought we'd check it out. Two very cool boats at the Redondo Pier. We went on the "Lynx"-it was 72 feet long. Here we are sitting pretty. It even had cannons-the cannonball was heavy! Sunday we decided to go to Disneyland. There are pumpkins everywhere. Disneyland is always fun. We went on the new Toy Mania ride-it's like a huge video arcade. A great day and weekend. So sad tomorrow is back to school.

Habitat for Humanity

This was my day of work on Wednesday. I hammered away and even got to use a saw. The roof will stay on now! Also with me- Darren (rest manager), Mark (my boss), Enrique (acctg) and John (HR).

Saturday activities

We started our day with the LA Zoo- in the spirit of Halloween. Patrick loves telescopes-hmm, future astronomer or pirate? We went to the beach-it was crazy windy. Bella had her pose on-too funny.

El Segundo HS Homecoming

Friday we went to El Segundo HS Homecoming. This is Bella and Celeste, I work with her mom. Such memories of HS band days. I don't remember fireworks at any of our half time shows. The kids had a great time!

ABC's according to Isabella and Patrick

This is cute. Patrick has been singing his ABC's non stop. He did it for the first time a few weeks ago and I was stunned. We worked so hard on teaching Bella and I guess have neglected working on them with him. He got it by default-watching her do her homework and just being around when we work with her on letters. Patrick is already picking up the letter sounds that Bella is working on now! Another genius! Look out Ivy League.

We went with friends to Oktoberfest at our own Alpine Village. We did the chicken dance and got fun hats!

Summer in September

We hit the beach on Saturday, can you believe mommy forgot her camera!! So here we are Sunday in the pool. Beautiful weekend. We went to see "Igor" with little Sarah, a cute movie!

Palm Springs for Bella's birthday

We spent a fun weekend the Renassiance Esmerelda resort in Palm Springs. Mommy has awesome friends that gave us a suite and Pretty Grandma and Grandpa Joe came as did Lizzie and Sarah. It was really hot, even at night. We swam all day and even at night-pretty cool!

Happy 5th Birthday Bella

We started the day with cupcakes at school- an easy way to become friends with everyone, Daddy took her to lunch and then swimming and Mommy took her to Johnny Rockets for burgers and the biggest ice cream sundae ever. Barbie had to come along.

Potty Trained

We are rejoicing- no more diapers or pullups. You can't tell, but Patrick is really excited about using the potty!

First day of Kindergarten

Mommy survived the first day of kindergarten, she got to come with me to school. It was a fun day- we read a story, made a craft to make mommy not miss me and played outside. I made some new friends. One new friend, Taylor, sitting next to me at our table has the same birthday as I do. How cool. We're taking cupcakes to school next week for our birthday! I have a new HSM backpack and am ready to go.

Lazy Labor Day

We went to Hollywood to see Sleeping Beauty on the BIG screen at El Capitan Theatre. It was so cool. There is an organ that comes up from the floor and plays all the Disney songs we love. You can see the marquee in the distance. Here are at Hollywood & Highland-home of American Idol and lots of crazies .
